Tuesday, August 1st. I saw Preston Lacy (JACKASS) and Chris Kattan (SNL) have lunch together at Jack n Jills in Beverly Hills (poet and didn't even know it). They both seemed friendly yet somewhat subdued. Preston is a big boy, and Chris was better looking than I would have expected.

If you want to stargaze, the Christmas In Wonderland cast often dine at Sage, as they're all staying at the River Cree Marriott.
Restaurant sources say they are all good, down-to-earth people. Not a star tripper in the bunch.

Recapping the Buckeyes' Week
...We're seeing Big Ten opponents unveil the "Roxbury Defense" on Greg Oden.
The tactic, made famous by Saturday Night Live's Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan,
occurs when the ball is thrown down low to Oden. Oden catches the ball, the
music kicks on, and then those terrible, terrible lyrics..."What is love? Baby
don't hurt me...don't hurt me...no more." And Oden is subsequently bodied up by
two or three hardcourt gigolos dancing to the beat of their own hideous drummer.
This, of course, makes Greg Oden uncomfortable, and forces him to try to get
away. But once he tries to get away, the refs whistle him for traveling. Sadly,
at this time, there is no counter to this defense.
