Crude SNL references ahead
4:17 p.m. - Forgery reported at Colonial Bank, at 6021 Preston Road (75035). A suspect rolled into the bank to open an account. The problem was, they weren't who they said they were, and the checks - one for $3,750 from "CTC 3 Investments" and another for $7,500 from "Mango Management, Inc." - were fake. There is no validity to reports that Chris Kattan was being sought for questioning related to the latter check. "No! You can't have-a da Mango!" a voice was heard to call.
4:20 p.m. - Theft (shoplifting) reported at JCPenney in Stonebriar Centre, at 2607 Preston Road. A shoplifter stole a pair of sterling silver stud earrings worth $15, which were recovered about 6 p.m. along with the thief. Mango denied connection with the theft, saying, "Mango don't wear-a da cheap stuff, darling."
